Speech stays on your device
Chrome, Edge and Safari transcribe in the browser, so no audio leaves your machine at all. Other browsers fall back to a server engine, and only if one is configured.
Cleanup never invents
The tidy-up only removes and repunctuates. The offline tier cannot add a word by construction, and the model tier is held to the same rule and checked against it.
Nothing is kept
Audio is transcribed and discarded. Your text, your dictionary and this session’s history live in this browser and nowhere else. There is no account to make.
